Right now, we have the funding needed to respond effectively to the crisis in Ukraine and for refugees in the neighbouring countries and across Europe where we are responding.
This may change, but at this time the best way to help children is to ask our supporters to give flexibly to our Children’s Emergency Fund (CEF) so that children in other areas of the world who’re in dire, life-threatening humanitarian crises have a chance to survive. CEF allows us to continue to act quickly in times of crisis to get children and their families what they need, in places like Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Colombia, Somalia, and Democratic Republic of Congo and many more countries where Save the Children is responding right now.
As the situation in Ukraine impacts global food security, on top of an already existing global hunger crisis on a scale we've never seen before, donations to our Children’s Emergency Fund will become increasingly important to save lives. No child deserves to be hungry.
