The tragedy Ukraine has put many people in danger. While some of them fled the country becoming refugees, others are staying behind. There is no safe place in Ukraine, and the situation is changing by the hour. All children in the country are now in grave danger of physical harm and severe emotional distress.
As the situation is spiraling out of control, Save the Children is appealing for $19 million to reach the 3.5 million children and their families in harm’s way across the region.
We provide life-saving assistance such as food, water, cash transfers, and safe places for children as people flee the conflict amid freezing temperatures and brutal conditions.
At Save the Children, our teams are responding where they can - and will continue for as long as it is safe and possible to do so. We are delivering essential humanitarian aid to children in Ukraine and their families to ensure children impacted by this crisis have the support they need, as we have done since conflict erupted in 2014.
